Here are some highlights:
* Currently there are 882 homes and 1084 land parcels listed for sale in the Taos real estate MLS.

I received a price reduction report this morning on a home in Ranchos de Taos that is now down 34% since it was listed. It has dropped $95,500.
Taos Real Estate Market Status Report
It would be nice if the Taos real estate market was as beautiful as the weather this Sunday morning. However, it’s still pretty slow here, with inventory high and days on market holding at high levels as well.

A Victory for Transparency – MLS Days on Market
There has been a move afoot to decrease the time that a property could be off the Taos real estate market before it could be re-listed as a new listing. This would get it a new MLS number, obfuscating the cumulative days on market sooner.
Additional Take on Condo Absorption Rate
About a week ago, I posted about the absorption rates for residential property in the Taos real estate MLS. Today, at a Realtor® luncheon, I was discussing the condo sales rates with Ed Adams, a number-savvy appraiser.
