Taos Area Water Contaminant Reports

Though the data is from 2004-2006, The New York Times just ran an article and links to water contaminant reports from all around the country. This includes 44 water systems in Taos County. And, here's the report for the Taos Municipal Water System.

The best news is the 100 contaminants they didn't find. And, only four showed readings above health guidelines, though they did fall within legal guidelines. Articles cited data collected by the Environmental Working Group. Newer data isn't available, with this quote from their site: "The New Mexico Environment Department did not respond to requests for more recent test data. Contact your water utility for the latest water quality report."
