GRT for the Town of Taos is Up for October, 2009
The Town of Taos just received its Gross Receipts Taxes (GRT) for October 2009*.
Town GRT is up by 4.08% or $33,411.15 for October, 2009.
The Town’s GRT is still down fiscal year-over-year by approximately -6.83%. However, this October increase is positive news when other similar communities are down 20%+. Attached is the overall Town PDF tax report. If you have questions about it, please email.
*There is always a two month lag between when GRT is generated and when it is received by the Town from the State. These numbers were therefore received in December and generated in October, 2009).
