Loren Kahn Puppet & Object Theatre's puppet and theatre play.
Sunday December 13 at 3:00 PM, Taos Community Auditorium
Presented by: The Taos Center
for the Arts, First Community Bank and the Town of Taos

Because of an unrequited love, a billy goat named Cornebique, hits the road. By chance, he finds himself in charge of the last surviving baby male dormouse named Pie. The weasels have eaten all the rest of the species, except for one last little female dormouse in their possession. They want to catch Pie in order to unite the two dormice and create the biggest food corporation in weasel history. But nothing goes exactly as we thought and an amnesiac rooster leads us to the last twist.
Billy Goat Ballad is an adaptation of the French novel Le Ballade de Cornebique by Jean Claude Mourlevat. To tell the tale, the Loren Kahn Puppet and Object Theater has woven puppetry, theatre and slapstick and brings to life a magical world, intriguing and humorous, for children ages 9 and up, provoking reflection in teenagers and adults as well.
This program is funded in part by The McCune Foundation
