Out of Town Field Trips Offered

Albuquerque Aquarium & Rio Grande Zoo Field Trip
The Taos Youth & Family Center is providing the children of our community the opportunity to attend out of town field trips. The first field trip planned for the summer is for 6-12 year olds to the Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Garden and the Rio Grande Zoo on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 7:30 AM—8:00 PM. The cost will be $12.00, which includes entry fees. The Summer Food Program run by the Taos Municipal Schools will be providing everyone with breakfast and lunch. You may also send your child with a sack lunch.
Registration will begin Tuesday, June 30, 2009—Monday, July 6, 2009. All registrations must be made in person at the Taos Youth & Family Center. No field trip registrations can be made over the telephone. Space is limited. Payment must be made prior to the day of the field trip. Registration forms are available at the Taos Youth & Family Center location at 407 Paseo del Canon, East. Parents interested in chaperoning or for more information call Judy at 758-4160.
