Taos Library & The Summer Of Love

Easy Rider screening and much more tomorrow at the Taos Public Library: Tomorrow, Saturday, May 23, at 2 p.m., the Taos Public Library kicks off its Taos Summer of Love (SOL) Lecture Series with a free screening of the film Easy Rider, free popcorn, SOL displays/reading recommendations, and a special 250 limited edition Taos SOL book bag for sale with a groovy design by Taos artist Amy Cordova. Bags may be obtained through a $10 donation to the Library tomorrow only – a $12 donation is requested by the Friends of the Taos Public Library after Saturday. Proceeds go directly to the Taos Library Expansion Fund (bags are recyclable, reusable cotton). Questions? Performing live at the release party will be: Manzanares, Nosotros, The Hoo Doos, The Rifters, Alan Vetter (of Vanilla Pop), Roanne Lewis, Jared Mell, Bogey, Don Conoscenti, Mike Laughlin and Jenny Bird.

Tickets are available at the door only for $5. Kids 12 and under are free. Doors open at 6:00. Show starts at 7:00.

This show is all ages.

Every paid attendee will receive a copy of the CD and 100% of the ticket proceeds will go directly to the friends of the Town of Taos Library
