NIGHT OF 1000 STARS!

Taos Community Auditorium
Performances are 7:00 P.M. Friday 4/17 & Saturday 4/18
with a Matinee is Saturday 4/18 at 1:30 pm.
Tickets are available at the door.
Box office opens at 6:00 PM for evening shows and on Saturday at 12:30 for the matinee.
Ticket $10 for Adults and $5 for Youth 19 and under.

DANCE AUDITIONS
Taos Center for the Arts to host a two week
Modern Dance Intensive

The Taos Center for the Arts will be providing a rare chance for dancers to participate in a two-week long dance and theatrical experience including a performance by the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble beginning April 27, 2009 and running until May 9, 2009. It will involve two weeks of modern dance workshops with professional instruction in modern dance by qualified New Mexico instructors who will guide them to a final performance/demonstration to be given at the end of the two weeks on Friday May 8. This instruction will include Horton, Dunham and Duncan technique as well as Dance and Contact Improvisation and Buhtoh. The Cleo Parker dancers will hold a master class for the students prior to the performance/demonstration.

Interested dancers must attend an audition on
April 18 from Noon to 2:00 pm at Aura Fitness, 1337 Gusdorf Rd., Suite S.
Students will need to make a two week commitment to be in classes at the Taos Community Auditorium from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM week nights from April 27 through May 8. Students will also need to be available Saturday May 2nd for class.
This program is free to all students thanks to a grant from the
National Endowment for the Arts.
All ages are welcome to audition. 20 students will be accepted. Students should also be available to help with the Cleo Robinson Dance Ensemble performance on Saturday, May 9.
