I get news releases by the ton every day that come to me from Google alerts on key words and phrases about the Taos area. I try to post here and comment on as many as I can that are interesting or helpful to our area. One that I got this morning is a post on the Women and Hollywood Blog about valuing our women artists. There is a documentary out featuring several outstanding women artists, and here's their comment that brought the post to my news reader; "They were all extremely interesting but the stand out is Maye Torres, a sculptor and painter based in Taos, NM."
