I always like to get a news release or RSS feed item about a Taos mention in the national media, or someone’s blog.  It was no exception in reading the post by The Wine Curmdgeon about a wine competition in Taos.  And we Taosenos do appreciate the complement about the quality of the wines in the competition.

But Cmon!  The title, Wine competitions: A tough way to make living, what’s that about?  I think it’s an understatement to say that it’s easier than working at Burger King or bagging groceries.  As a lover of wine, and a frequent visitor to the CA wine country, I can only dream of having had the opportunity to train my palate for a career tasing wine.

Wine Curmudgeon, we do appreciate the post, and the other one earlier about Taos.  But stop whining about how tough your job is.  You could be a Realtor in Taos.  Or am I whining now?
