Walking the Talk in Taos Real Estate
If you’ve listed a home for sale in the Taos real estate market or anywhere else, it’s likely that the sign placed in the yard did a very good job of advertising the listing brokerage or their franchise logo.
There really is nothing there about your home. There may even be what is called a “sign rider” with the name of your agent, but again, nothing about your home at all. The law says we must have our brokerage name and registered phone number, but the rest of the sign should be about your home.
At Gallery Realty of Taos, when we list your home, we’ll need a few extra days to get the sign out there for you. That’s because we’ll be getting a customized sign printed that does what we’re supposed to be doing…marketing YOUR HOME. See the sample sign below.
There is a huge difference in services and expertise in real estate brokerage. There are so many more areas in which we provide unique services above the norm for the competition. Call or email Jim Kimmons to talk about it.

With the rise of internet real estate listings I always thought the signs should have some sort of refence number and website on them so that you can go back home, sit on your computer and retreive all the nessicary information…
You’re absolutely right. I add a rider to the sign with a custom web domain address for that listing, as in http://1234MainStreet.com. I use blogs and blog sub pages, so I just point the web address to the information. Thanks for the comment.
