MISSOULA CHILDREN'S THEATRE
July 7 through July 12, 2008
Auditions will take place at 9 am sharp on Monday, July 7th at BATAAN HALL on Civic Plaza Drive.
This is a free program for kids 1st grade through 12th grade. Advance preparation is not necessary, but a smile never hurts at an audition. Students should be ready to come and have a good time! Remember that the normal rehearsal schedule is two 2 hour sessions per day. Everyone is required to be present for the entire 2 hour audition. Approximately 60 students will be chosen to be in the production. With the help of the two MCT actor/directors they will put together a delightful and entertaining musical show in just 5 days. Performances will take place at BATAAN HALL, Saturday, July 12th at 3 pm and 7 pm.
Tickets are $12 general, TCA Members $10 and $5 for children 12 and under.

The Taos Living Treasures program was created in 1987
to recognize the contributions of our senior citizens.

Living Treasures follows a simple selection process. Area residents write letters of nomination
for a person deemed worthy of special honors for a lifetime of volunteer service. A panel of judges selects five honorees from Taos County and Penasco region.

The program, co-sponsored by the Taos Center for the Arts and the Town of Taos, features a special public tribute, free to the public. This year's festivities at Bataan Hall on Sunday, August 17 at 1pm, pays special homage to the honorees. The agenda includes speeches, entertainment and presentation of an award by the Mayor. The Friendship Dance and a reception round out the schedule.
