Coyote Creek State Park - Camp and Catch Trout

Coyote Creek State ParkWe made a short visit to Coyote Creek State Park, and did a video you’ll find below. Between Angel Fire and Mora, this state park is well-maintained and provides hook-ups and tent sites. The stream has numerous pools, so fishing is good, even if you like to do it the easy way from a chair…like me.

There is a day use fee, and a camp host during the summer, so please pay on the way in. There were people fishing on the first Sunday in June, and they had caught a few small trout. It’s a calming and beautiful place just to spend a day and picnic. There is a playground as well.
