Another Status Loss for Taos

Alas, Taos has dropped in standing in no less than the Guinness Book of World Records. It's a shame too, as most of us probably didn't even know we were in the book for this record until we'd lost our position.

It seems that Nate Adams stuck 745 18 gauge surgical needles into Benjamin Drucker on July 12, 2003 in Taos. That was a world record...who knew. Now we've lost it to no less than a 900 needle piercing in Texas. It seems that Robert Rubio wanted fame, and even his mother thinks it was a dumb thing to do.

Well, congratulations Robert. I think you may be able to hold the record a while, as I would tend to think of this activity as a perfect piece for Bill Engvall's next "Here's Your Sign" video routine. I'm not calling you stupid, but I know that I'm not expecting too many challenges to this record any time soon.
