Taos Real Estate – Different But The Same
A couple of days ago, I posted to the Real Estate Business Blog at About.com about a book written for Realtors and how they market themselves. Though the book and my post are both addressed to real estate professionals, the first two paragraphs of my post bear mentioning here.
The book, You Are Not a House, by Bill Fisher, Ph.D., is clear that too many real estate agents and brokers market themselves much like they do one of their home listings. What the author proposes is that we should be marketing ourselves in a much more subtle, but also more effective way. Our expertise, market knowledge, negotiation ability and other transactional expertise are what we bring to the table. We shouldn't be telling you we're great at these things...we should be showing you.
Please go through this site, particularly the real estate info items at that tab. The Taos real estate market is unique in many ways, making it even more important for one to be able to locate relevant information about wells, water rights, negotiations, transactions, title insurance and more. I've written about all of these subjects and much more on this site. I'll keep adding content as long as there is something new to say.
