When you watch the movie below, you might get the idea that Marco, an owner of the Downtown Bistro in Taos, is friendly. He’s just shy about movies. The thing we like most about the Bistro is the friendly atmosphere. We feel like it’s our “Cheers” for an evening of fine dining, music some nights, and conversations and hugs from the staff.

Marco greets us at the door, and he escorts us out. It’s a very comfortable setting, just a block from the Plaza, across from Smith’s Grocery.
