The ability to feel the slate in Sandra Miller's creations is a special treat. There is weight and a third dimension, not to mention the functionality of a mirror or clock for the home.

The Sandra Miller Studio began in 1986 in Venice, $Sandra Miller\'s Slate Frames and Mirrors$ California, following years of oil painting and stone carving with Sandra's background as a sculptor, stone carver and painter. Sandra's creations bring a bit of nature indoors. The slate used in these products is 500 million years old, a result of the earth's compression of mud and heat. The stone's colors are natural ingredients of minerals such as carbon and iron oxide.
