Taos Ski Valley - Moguls and Mellow
Taos Ski Valley is known for a more European style of run, with twists and turns, rather than wide and straight. With an average 305 inches of snow each year and 300 days of sunshine, it is hard to find a more inviting ski destination.
Those of us lucky enough to live in Taos, NM sometimes get a bit spoiled. Whether you ski or not, a day in the Ski Valley is always a treat. Restaurants and shops delight, while the views are spectacular. If you’re into skiing excitement, then there were more than 35 advanced trails open this day.
With a temperature of 45 degrees on the deck of the restaurant, being mellow with conversation and a glass of French Chardonnay is all that some of us desired. Some German sausage in potato soup at the Bavarian Restaurant hit the spot for lunch. Whether you’re into moguls or just being a bit mellow, Taos Ski Valley can make it happen.
