Most people have a “favorite” restaurant. It’s usually more about the atmosphere and the people than just the food. We feel that way about the Downtown Bistro. Marco, the co-owner, greets us at the door with a hug, and the waitresses do the same. Of course, the menu is varied and the cuisine is excellent.

Wine and beer are served, with an extensive wine list. Special requests are cheerfully accommodated, and you’ll be very pleased with the service. Tell Marco that Jim and Leslie sent you. You won’t get treated any better, but I’ll get a thank you later!
