New Mexico has many fine wineries. We are lucky in Taos to have La Chiripada Winery nearby. La Chiripada is located in Dixon, just 2.5 miles east on Hwy 75 from Hwy 68.

There is also a tasting room in the Taos Plaza, just under Ogilvie’s Restaurant. La Chiripada has a great mix of semisweet and dry wines. And, Taos residents get a 10% discount.

Check out the vines at La Chirpada, and wander through their gift shop and tasting room. Make it a part of a fun day in the Dixon area.
