Home Inspection in Taos

One of the first impressions Taos makes on visitors is its variety of architecture and home styles. With vacation homes built by people from all over the world, you can expect some very interesting structures.

Our area home inspectors are exposed to much more structural Variety than ln most areas of the country, If at all possible, Buyers should accompany their inspectors during the process. One-on-one conversation and questions will help you to understand the written report to follow,

Immediately after a contract is accepted, a buyer should contact and interview inspectors. Gallery Realty of Taos will provide you with a contact list. However, you should talk to inspectors and choose one who you feel will best meet your needs and communication style.

Sellers will get their copy when the buyers make “Objections” to the report and require repairs or corrections to the property. The delivery of these objections and the copy of the inspection report initiates the repair negotiation process.

It is important for both buyers and sellers to realize that many deals fall out due to an inability to come to agreement on repair issues. Gallery Realty, whichever side we’re on, is working with our client to get the best result possible, while holding the transaction together.
