Ranchos de Taos is a 10 minute drive south of Taos Plaza. It is the home of the most photographed church in America, St. Francis de Asis. There is also a popular plaza there with a restaurant, church shop, and galleries.

Ranchos de Taos is made up of all ages and styles of homes, with terrain varying from flat sagebrush to valley and foothills.
