Pot Creek is in a valley southeast of Taos. The drive is less than 10 minutes. Views are limited to the valley walls. Land surrounding the strip of private land is mostly National Forest.

Pot Creek flows through this area, and presents some opportunities to purchase homes or land with stream frontage. It is a sought-after area, with little for sale there at any given time.
